ABOUT MOTHERWORKS
MotherWorks is a creative arts studio led by artist and maker Ana. The work begins with clay and extends into metal and hands on experiences.
The studio is named for her daughters. Motherhood reshaped the rhythm and intention of the practice. Time, care, and presence guide each object and every session.
All work at MotherWorks is formed through direct engagement with material. Nothing is mass produced. Objects and experiences reflect process, use, and lived experience.
MotherWorks exists to create space for making, learning, and connection through material.

love in the making

Ana’s process is intuitive and material led. Clay often comes first, followed by metal and other forms as the work evolves. Pieces are shaped slowly, with attention to function, balance, and how they will be held and used. Teaching and shared making are part of the practice, not separate from it. The work grows through repetition, experimentation, and time spent in the studio.
